What is a microgreen salad subscription? We are excited to now offer seasonal microgreen salad programs. When you sign up for a seasonal subscription, you are purchasing a part of our harvest that will be guaranteed fresh every week. We offer 4-week or 8-week programs with local pick up or delivery options.
-
What’s the difference between a microgreen salad and a regular salad?Microgreens contain up to 40x more vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants than their adult counterparts. On top of having more nutrients and phytonutrients, microgreens are also much easier on the digestive tract. Our greens are grown to order and harvested fresh each week. You receive your delivery within 24 hours - which guarantees more nutrients and a longer shelf life. We use organic methods for growing, filtered water, and air purifiers in our grow space. We also use recycled/compostable, and BPA free packaging.
-
Do I have to use it for just salad?Absolutely not! You can add your greens on top of burgers, steak, eggs, sandwiches, soups, smoothies, etc! We add recipes in your weekly emails to give you inspiration.
-
What is the cost?Only $20/week - we offer free pick up or a small delivery fee. If you cannot afford to pay all at once we have flexible payment plans and can set up a weekly autopay. *Note a 3.5% credit card fee is applied for online purchases.
-
How much do I receive per week? Our new and improved weekly salad subscription program will now include: 1 large bag of specialty mixed greens (think baby chard, lettuce, micro basil; mixes to rotate) 2 containers of microgreens (varieties to rotate) newsletter with recipes (for more than just salad), nutrition tips, and more! free insulated tote bag with the first purchase 4 or 8-week subscriptions local pickup + delivery options are available
-
How many would that serve? One weekly delivery is good for a side salad for up to 3 people a few times a week (or a week’s worth of side salads for one green-loving individual). If you only use as a topping to meals, servings would increase.
-
Can I customize what I receive every week?Unfortunately, no. Tiny Greens Farm, LLC does its best to provide you with fresh produce for each share distribution or order. A subscription will include an assortment of items, depending on what is ready for harvest and quantities available. As such, we cannot personalize or guarantee any particular variety or quantity of greens.
-
Do you deliver?Yes! We now are offering local delivery to East Fishkill, Fishkill, Beacon, Wappingers Falls, Poughkeepsie, and LaGrangeville areas!
-
Where do I pick up my order every week? You can pick up your weekly subscription here at our farm! Our address will be provided after purchase. We offer pick ups on Friday or Saturday. Please contact us after your purchase to coordinate a preferred day and time window.
-
What if I need to cancel my order?Cancellations must be requested 12 business days prior to the first or next scheduled delivery date. If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so by emailing us at hello@tinygreensfarm.com. Please be aware that all cancellations will incur a non-refundable $15 administrative/cancellation fee.
-
Can I transfer my subscription to a friend instead of canceling?Yes. You can transfer once per season. You’ll need to email us at hello@tinygreensfarm.com with the name, delivery address, phone number, and email. We’ll send you an email letting you know we’ve approved the transfer. A few things to note: 1) the transfer is not effective until you’ve received the approval email and 2) you’ll need to handle any reimbursement from your friend: we won’t refund you and rebill them.
-
What if I am out of town for one of my weekly orders? We don’t want your tiny greens to spoil either! You may skip a week's delivery once per season. Alternatively, got a friend who wants to try some Tiny Greens? Email us at hello@tinygreensfarm.com at least a week before your pick-up date to notify us. Please be sure to include your friend’s name, address, phone and email. We’ll send you back an email letting you know that the temporary pick-up by your friend is approved. A couple of things to note: 1) you are responsible for any reimbursement from your friend (we won’t bill them/refund you) and 2) the temporary change is not effective until you get a confirmation email back from us.
-
What happens if I miss my pick-up window and can't get my order in time?If you miss your window and can't pick up your order, please be sure to contact Tiny Greens Farm as soon as possible (hello@tinygreensfarm.com) and we can coordinate an alternate pick up. Pick-up days are scheduled every Friday or Saturday. The latest available day of the week to pick up is Sunday. If you fail to pick up your order within the allotted time window and day, and have not made prior arrangements, your order will be considered abandoned, and it will be used, composted, or donated.
-
What happens if I something goes wrong with my pick up or delivery order once I receive it?Tiny Greens Farm has no control over what happens once orders are delivered or picked up. In the unlikely event something goes awry, and the farm is notified promptly (as soon as possible on pick-up/delivery day), Tiny Greens Farm will attempt to resolve the issue, or take reasonable steps to prevent a future recurrence. However, Tiny Greens Farm makes no warranty or guarantee that any given item can be replaced.
-

What’s the fine print?Well, technically, everything above is considered or terms and conditions, plus just a few additional items: Tiny Greens Farm may determine that continued service is infeasible for any reason, including (but not limited to a) disruptions to supply chain, staffing, or delivery capacity; b) governmental actions, orders or regulations; c) social or political unrest, and d) public health crises. You understand that Tiny Greens Farm relies on email communications and/or text messages to keep you informed. You agree to open and read email communications and/or text messages from Tiny Greens Farm, and you will make sure you keep your account updated with your current email address and cell phone number.
